SALSA UNDER THE GROUND!!!

We would like to invite you to the ball-rooms located 125 metres deep in the earth. They are as gloomy and mysterious as Hades's kingdom but at the same time they are full of magic and give you the thrill of excitement. Surrounded by thousands of crystals, you will feel like in a fairy-tale. This scenery together with your dancing and latin music will be something extraordinary!

UlaLaSalsa Dance Group (Kraków) would like to invite you to a salsa festival. It will take place on 03-05 October 2008. There will be two days of workshops in the Salt Mine in Wieliczka, two parties in the crystal ball-room and two other parties.

The best salsa instructors, excellent DJs and amazing atmosphere of the place will guarantee you an unforgettable experience. Please, bear in mind, that because it's a NON PROFIT event, there will be guests limit.

The Canada Salsa Congress is the largest salsa dance festival ever staged in Canada and is an annual event which celebrates the diverse and creative talents of salsa dancers coming together from across the country and all over the world. This premier 4 day event provides a forum to showcase Canadian talent as well as to expose the Canadian dance scene to some of the most innovative and inspirational instructors and performers from around the world. Over the past 5 years, the event has motivated, enhanced and elevated the dance training of over twenty thousand dance teachers, students, performers and dance aficionados- and this year only gets better!

We are pleased to announce that the Canada Salsa Congress will play host again to the Annual Canadian Salsa Championships. This official qualifying competition will send first place winners in each division to represent Canada at the 2008 World Salsa Championships in December to be held in Disney World, Florida and broadcast by ESPN.

This year’s Canada Salsa Congress features an outstanding lineup of performers, elite instructors, and intense competitors. We look forward to providing a weekend where professional dancers, beginner students, social dancers, choreographers, instructors and musicians are able to nurture their talent and develop a deeper love and appreciation of salsa dancing.

“Live The Salsa Spirit” for three days at the Olympic venue in Faliro, from November 28th until November 30th, 2008. For the first time in Greece, a three-day international Salsa dance festival is being held. The first “Todo Latino Salsa Festival” takes place, with the participation of the greatest performers of the international Salsa scene.

Participants will have the opportunity to attend Salsa workshops, to watch dance shows performed by the most distinguished international Salsa dancers (Eddie Torres, Tropical Gem, Super Mario, Yamulee, U-Tribe and many more) and also to participate in dance contests with great awards ($10,000 prize and the chance for the winners to attend famous international festivals).

The most popular band, the “El Gran Combo De Puerto Rico”, as well as the “New Swing Sextet” will perform at the Festival, whereas big parties with well known DJs will be held every night.

The venue will be specially formed according to the needs of the event including:

• Four different areas where the dance workshops will be held
• A grand stage which will be used for the shows and the live appearances of the bands
• A 1000 square meters dance floor will be available
• Light and special effects equipment that will transform the stadium arena into a unique Salsa party venue
• 2 lounges with distinct design for the guests' relaxation
• Bars, stands, kiosks that serve food and beverages
• A merchandising area with dance equipment
